KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director to join our Business Tax Services practice.

• Play a key role in our Business Tax Services practice by working primarily with Insurance clients to transform their tax department leveraging our investments in resources, technology and standardized processes and techniques
• Act as the lead KPMG contact for primarily Insurance clients and communicate findings and opportunities to clients in the Insurance industry
• Manage large projects requiring the rigorous assessment of a client's tax requirements amid a complex and evolving technology, regulatory and legislative landscape
• Build, manage, direct and monitor multiple client engagements teams while maintaining active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction
• Lead, participate in and contribute to market and business development activities external to the firm, including identifying and pursuing new potential client service opportunities by collaborating with KPMG's Audit and Advisory practices
• Contribute to the growth, experience and institutional knowledge of the BTS-Managed Services staff level team members

• Minimum fourteen years of recent experience in a combination of asset corporate tax and tax technology in an audit, tax or advisory services firm, corporation, or law firm
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university and licensed CPA, JD/LLM or Enrolled Agent or hold an MST or MBA degree or PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters including tax technical, tax reporting and compliance experience; possess an understanding of technology and transformational approaches to global compliance
• Demonstrated track record of business development with the ability to develop and maintain existing internal and external client relationships and help build new relationships with key targets
• Demonstrated experience managing large projects and client service teams as well as developing and mentoring staff within a collaborative team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information
