A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a full-time non-exempt Residential Admissions Recruitment & Retention Coordinator on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position will facilitate positive ATSU interview and guest experiences during visit days, special events, and applicant interview days.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interview days (2-3x per week, Aug. - May).
- Coordination, hosting, and communicating with guests and applicants. Wraps up with the applicants and guests at the end of the Interview Day.
- ID verification of applicants.
- Creates a welcoming environment ensuring a positive experience for applicants and visitors; works with ITS to display names of interviewees on the media boards.
- Fitting applicants for white coat sizes.
- Prepare all materials needed for efficient interview day visit experience. Assemble and distribute interview day folders and information about campus.
- Mail/Email interview day materials to applicants who interviewed virtually.
- Ensure refreshments are available and visitors are entertained during downtime on interview days.
- Ensure interview day lunches and tours stay on schedule.
- Notify interviewers and Admissions Host of any changes, delays, or other pertinent information.
- Monitor and stock interview day supplies, refreshments, spouse packets, and additional materials as needed.
- Screen applications following program screening rubric/guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Two-year college certificate or equivalency.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Professionalism, public relations, strong social skills, comfortable making conversation with strangers, and cultural proficiency.
- General office etiquette.
- Ability to maintain confidential records.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.
