Make a difference - for us and for your future.nPosition Title: Commercial Banking Team LeaderBusiness Unit: Commercial BankingReports To: Regional Manager of Commercial BankingPosition Overview:This position is primarily responsible for establishing banking relationships with middle market and large corporate customers in and around the region and for the management of a commercial banking team. The incumbent supervises and develops the commercial banking team to maintain and grow the loan portfolio and to develop and enhance customer relationships. The incumbent builds and maintains a portfolio and client base and develops new business and meets corporate clients' financial services needs.Primary Responsibilities:Establishes banking relationships with middle market and large corporate customers within the assigned geographical location. Builds and maintains a portfolio and client base including new business development and meeting corporate clients' financial services needs through cross selling and consultation. Develops, maintains and grows own client base.Manages assigned relationship managers. Works with direct reports to achieve results set forth in the bank's strategic plan. Participates in developing marketing and sales plans with their direct reports.Refers business opportunities to business partners at Wealth Management, Insurance, Treasury Management and other products and services offered by the corporation.Monitors and proactively manages team and personal portfolio credit quality. Monitors and manages team portfolio reports.Reviews term sheets and previews memorandums and credit packages for approval and presentation to the loan committee.Maintains team compliance with various operating policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.Reviews market research on an ongoing basis to determine customer needs, volume potential, competitive strategies, etc.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by F.N.B.
