About the Role

FRAYT is rebuilding how logistics works, and we’re looking for people who want in on the ground floor. As a Network Operator, you’ll start at the center of our live network: dispatching, troubleshooting, and keeping deliveries moving. That’s the job today. It won’t stay that way.

As we build out our technology, this role evolves with it. We’re putting AI at the core of how FRAYT runs, and the people who know our network best will shape how that happens. You’ll help decide what gets automated, what still needs a human, and how operators and AI work together. We’re not hiring someone to fill a seat. We’re hiring the people we expect to become our next operators, product thinkers, and leaders.

You don’t need a logistics background. We’ll teach you the industry and our platform. What we can’t teach is drive, grit, and the instinct to own a problem until it’s solved.

You’ll report to the Senior Director of Operations. Whether you just finished school or you’re switching fields, if you want to learn fast and get real responsibility early, this is the seat.

The Honest Part

This is not a coast-through job. Startups demand much more than an average “9-5” employee. Some of the work is certainly unglamorous: chasing down a missed pickup at 6 a.m., digging into why the same problem keeps happening, doing things by hand until we build something better. Logistics doesn’t stop at 5 p.m. Expect long days, early mornings, evenings, and weekends when the network needs it, especially during peak. While this job can be exhausting, there is much satisfaction to be had in directly and quickly helping a company grow.

Where This Goes

• First: Learn the network by running it. Dispatching, coverage, shipper and driver issues, all of it.
• Next: You’ll know where things break and why. You’ll help decide what we fix, what we build, and how to responsibly utilize Artificial Intelligence to take on the work that slows us down.
• Long term: Move into roles that own a market, a customer, a process, or a piece of the product, including how AI runs inside our network. Leadership opportunities go to the people who earn them, which can happen at an accelerated pace at FRAYT.

What You’ll Do

• Dispatch and monitor deliveries on FRAYT’s proprietary platform to keep on-time performance high
• Talk directly with shippers and drivers to resolve issues quickly and professionally
• Watch for unassigned orders and keep coverage tight across active markets
• Spot patterns in customer delivery activity and flag ways to serve them better
• Find what’s broken. When something keeps going wrong, figure out why and help design the fix
• Work with our Product and Engineering teams to shape the tools you use every day, including the AI that will continue to lighten the load of our network
• Work alongside Sales, Customer Ops, and Technology to cut through problems
• Quickly cycle between phone, email, Slack, and SMS without losing track of your work

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (any field)
• No logistics experience required. Customer-facing jobs, internships, campus leadership, athletics, or any high pressure experiences are all valuable and should be brought up.
• Clear, confident communication, written and verbal
• Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong organization and the ability to manage several urgent things at once
• Willingness to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends as needed
