Lead Quality Inspector

Location: Bedford, NH Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly - $40.00 USD Hourly Description Lead Quality Inspector opportunity with a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer in Bedford, NH. We're seeking someone with a strong quality inspection background who has also taken on leadership responsibilities, whether through formal management, team leadership, mentoring, training, or serving as a quality subject matter expert. Key Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements Document nonconformances and support corrective action activities Train and educate team members on quality standards and inspection processes Coordinate inspection activities with production and department managers Create and maintain inspection records, process checklists, and quality documentation Identify and disposition suspect or defective materials Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and manufacturing processes Qualifications 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment Experience working with AS9100 quality standards Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Knowledge of GD&T preferred CMM experience is a plus Leadership, training, mentoring, or team coordination experience Strong communication skills and attention to detail U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a security clearance This is a great opportunity to join an organization supporting cutting-edge aerospace and defense programs while taking on a visible leadership role within the quality team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
