Ochsner Medical Center is hiring compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Emergency Department (ED) team in Baton Rouge, LA. Position Details:
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN).
Unit: Emergency Department (ED) / Emergency Medicine (ER).
Schedule: Days & Nights Available.
Location: Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge, LA.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care using the Nursing Process in the Emergency Room (ER).
Assess patient needs and implement appropriate education strategies for patients and families.
Communicate, delegate, and collaborate effectively within the ED interdisciplinary team.
Manage nursing resources while serving as a leader and partner in the Emergency Department.
Use clinical data and evidence-based practice to evaluate care and promote optimal outcomes.
Support patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and excellence in emergency nursing practice.
Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:
Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license – State of Louisiana.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity Emergency Room / Emergency Department (ER/ED) setting.
Emergency Department or ER experience is preferred.
