What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Respond effectively to urgent and emergent situations, including trauma and critical illness.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and hospital standards for safety and compliance.
  • Embrace a patient-centered approach by respecting privacy and individual needs.

What You Need:

  • Current Louisiana RN license
  • 2+ years of RN experience, preferably in ER or acute care settings
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • CPI certification
  • ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
