Telemetry Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Matthews, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a long-term contract position, accepting contracts of 20 weeks or more.

Schedule: 12 Hour Night Shift: 18:45 - 07:15

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will provide care on a 40-bed medical surgical unit with emphasis on Bariatrics and Orthopedics. The unit prioritizes exemplary customer service and patient care, aligning with the mission, vision, and values of our healthcare system.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care and monitor telemetry patients.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with hand hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, preferably in Telemetry.
• BCLS and NIH certifications required.
• IV Start and Telemetry certifications required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
