Our client, a well-established private investment firm, is seeking a Fund Finance Associate to join its Fund Finance & Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a lean, hands-on team and gain broad exposure across private equity fund accounting, financial reporting, quarterly valuations, and new investment closings.

The role offers meaningful responsibility, direct interaction with senior finance leadership, and the opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of private equity fund operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fund accounting and financial operations across multiple private equity funds and investment vehicles.
• Coordinate with third-party fund administrators on general ledger activity, reconciliations, financial statements, and investor reporting.
• Manage capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, and related investor deliverables.
• Assist with quarterly valuations, including financial analysis, supporting documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Partner with the finance and investment teams on new deal closings, investment funding, and transaction-related accounting.
• Support cash management, financial controls, and ongoing process improvements across the fund complex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in private equity fund accounting, fund finance, alternative investments, or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger processes.
• Familiarity with capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and private equity fund structures.
• Exposure to valuations or transaction-related accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
