Import/Export AIR - Logistics Coordinator

salary: $20 - $22 per hour shift: First work hours: 9 AM - 6 PM education: High School Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to join our logistics team. This role manages the full lifecycle of international shipments with a focus on air freight. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in air cargo procedures, customs compliance, and Automated Export System (AES) filings to ensure timely execution. Responsibilities Coordinate air import and export shipments from booking to final delivery, securing space and preparing air waybills in compliance with TSA and airline regulations.

Prepare and submit customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

File Electronic Export Information (EEI) through the AES for required export shipments and stay updated on compliance rules.

Maintain organized records of air freight transactions, customs documentation, and transport files.

Resolve transit issues, flight delays, customs holds, and documentation discrepancies.

Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, including airlines, ground handlers, and customs brokers.

Qualifications Solid understanding of Air Waybills (AWBs), IATA regulations, TSA security rules, and air cargo procedures.

Hands-on experience with CargoWise or equivalent freight management software.

Proven background in AES/EEI filings and international trade documentation.
