Payroll Associate
Virtual Vocations Inc
Supporting end-to-end payroll processing across multiple African countries, the full-time Payroll Associate will ensure accurate and timely payments while coordinating with HR and external payroll providers in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Review payroll inputs from HR for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies before cut-off Process payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments, while preparing payroll journals and reconciling accounts Generate payroll reports and respond to employee queries, ensuring compliance with local legislation and internal controls Required qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field 1-3 years of payroll experience Hands-on experience using payroll software Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
