Job Description Job Description We are seeking an Interim Senior Staff Accountant to join our North Hollywood team during a critical transition period. This temporary, two-month assignment offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong foundation in month-end close processes and consolidated financial statements preparation. The role involves collaborating within a small team while working independently to support key financial reporting activities for a leading manufacturer of commercial restroom accessories. Responsibilities Support and execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis Prepare and review consolidated financial statements Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed Assist with process improvements and special accounting projects Maintain accurate financial records and supporting schedules Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong experience supporting month-end close processes Proven ability to prepare consolidated financial statements Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing within a team environment Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Friendly, coachable, and collaborative personality Preferred Qualifications CPA designation or CPA candidate Experience within a manufacturing environment Experience consolidating foreign entities Experience accounting for foreign currency transactions Experience with OneStream or similar financial reporting and consolidation systems
