CGP: Staff/Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $32.00 to $45.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support year end close activities and assist with audit preparation for multiple entities and locations.
• Perform detailed general ledger reconciliations and review account balances for accuracy.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with reporting requirements for both domestic and international operations.
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies to ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and support audit and reporting processes.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of accounting experience with strong focus on general ledger and reconciliations.
• A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journal entries and financial statement structure.
• Previous experience working in multi entity environments with exposure to global operations.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to perform data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Ability to support audit processes and work effectively under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Prior experience working with accounting systems, with knowledge of industry specific platforms.
• Background in architecture, engineering, construction, or similar industries.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Effective communication skills when working with cross functional teams and external auditors.
