Location: Salisbury, North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week; Every other weekend required plus 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period; Call and float requirements based on unit needs

Highlights:

• High-acuity cardiac and stroke telemetry unit with 1:5-6 patient ratios in a fast-paced environment
• Pre and post-procedure care for cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, ICDs, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Manage and titrate multiple cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Dopamine
• Epic (Dimensions) charting system with 36-hour orientation period
• Contract length 13 weeks or longer, with assignments available through February 27, 2027
• Team lead support for admissions and discharges; unit turns over 78-90 patients weekly

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience with high-acuity patient populations
• Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• IV start proficiency and telemetry interpretation skills
• Experience with cardiac drips, PCI procedures, and TR bands
• Comfortable managing 6-patient assignments in a high-turnover environment
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
