The Director of Anesthesia Operations I has overall responsibility for managing a regional group of the assigned specialty medical practices, including accountability for operations, financial performance, managing client relationships, strategic implementation, and people management.This position is responsible for overseeing anesthesia operations across multiple hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) locations throughout Central and Northern New Jersey. The portfolio currently includes 5 hospitals and 11 ambulatory surgery centers, with operational assignments subject to change based on evolving business needs and organizational structure.Current hospital locations include:Princeton Medical CenterHMH JFK University Medical CenterHMH Southern Ocean Medical CenterHMH Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old BridgeHMH Raritan Bay Medical Center-Perth AmboyThis remote-hybrid role is open to candidates residing permanently in the New Jersey area. OperationalAssist in preparation of corporate budgets with EVPS clinical leadership and financial and accounting teamTogether with regional clinical leadership, monitor financial performance of facility contracts and labor cost variances to budgetSpecifically monitor and manage labor costs and hours as compared to budgetEstablish appropriate internal processes and other standard work tools to ensure effective and efficient operationsAttend clinical leadership meetings to resolve operational issues and communicate significant issues related to corporate strategy, financial performance & other corporate initiativesDevelop and monitor business metrics related to financial and operational performance, including interfacing with Central Services, Business Intelligence and other internal opportunities within assigned regionAct as a liaison as necessary between corporate departments and Client facility personnelPeople ManagementRecruit, train, develop and evaluate Client Services employeesWork with regional/executive clinical leadership, as well as Human Resources, to develop a pipeline of effective leadership at the facility level Direct Regional specialty recruiting strategy to fulfill needs for short, mid and long-term contract success and market developmentProvide formal, quarterly feedback to assigned recruitment and new hire team through established report card proceduresWork with the National Practice Director to develop and maintain new contracts’ staffing schedules Assess new contract staffing needs and communicate those to the recruitment department and
