Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team, providing exceptional critical care to a diverse patient population. This pivotal role requires a highly skilled professional committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Proficiency in EPIC documentation systems.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with healthcare software and web-based applications.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Certification in a clinical specialty area.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to perform heavy physical work, including exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and frequently.
• Works routinely in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious specimens.
• Must be willing to work in patient care areas with occupational risks and possible exposure to hazardous materials or communicable diseases.
• No additional license or certification requirements beyond current RN licensing and certifications outlined above.
