Your Every Need Residential in Cleveland, OH is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join their team. In this rewarding role, you'll make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support every day. - Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed
- Transport clients to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Foster independence and community integration through skill-building activities
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
