Micron Solutions is looking for an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to join our 1st shift team in Fitchburg, MA.

In this hands-on role, you'll set up and troubleshoot injection molding machines, perform mold changes, monitor processes, and keep production running safely and efficiently. You'll also have the opportunity to work with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.

What You'll Do

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines
• Perform mold and job changeovers
• Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment
• Respond to machine alarms and processing issues
• Make process adjustments within established parameters
• Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stability
• Troubleshoot basic robotics and automation issues
• Complete required production and process documentation
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiency
• Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Hands-on injection molding processing experience
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines
• Experience performing mold changes and machine setups
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and respond to production issues
• Ability to work 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:00 PM

Preferred, but not required:

• 3+ years of injection molding experience
• Experience with robotics, automation, or auxiliary equipment
• Experience in medical device or other regulated manufacturing
• Scientific molding or process troubleshooting experience
• RJG/Master Molder or other plastics processing training
• Experience with IQMS/DELMIAWorks or another manufacturing ERP system
