Director of SEC and Internal Management Reporting

Director of SEC and Internal Management Reporting Location: HQ, Spring, TX. This role is expected to work onsite from an HPE office. Responsibilities The Director will have full responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate filing of Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, provide support to IR team during earnings process, security analyst meetings, and all other external filings with the SEC. The role will work closely with EY, IR, GBU finance teams, corporate financial planning and analysis, tax, and other internal partners to ensure accuracy and compliance with SEC reporting guidelines. The Director will also communicate and drive adherence to GAAP and the organization’s financial goals and policies. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in a finance function, with Big Four public accounting experience a plus. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting guidelines. Experience with technology industry and international companies preferred. Strong writing skills and the ability to understand HPE’s business operations. Experience engaging with external auditors, legal, corporate FP&A, close reporting, and business partners. Knowledge and Skills Technical knowledge of contract manufacturing agreements, product financing arrangements, vendor rebates, standard costing, excess & obsolescence reserves. Researching and interpreting complex technical accounting and financial reporting issues. Excellent project management and people management skills. Self‑starter able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences. Proficiency with business applications such as Microsoft Excel and SAP.
