Associate Attorney

Kyle J. White Law Firm is a litigation firm representing individuals and families in personal injury, civil rights, and complex litigation matters. About the Position We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Anderson office. This is an opportunity to do meaningful litigation work early in your career, with direct involvement in case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation — not years of document review before you see a courtroom. The ideal candidate has spent time on the defense side and is ready to put that experience to work for individuals rather than insurance carriers. Responsibilities Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and memoranda Manage and organize case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars Supervise and work closely with our experienced team of paralegals Take and defend depositions and handle court appearances Assist with trial preparation and second-chair trials Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and experts Investigate claims, review records, and develop case theories Qualifications Licensed to practice law in South Carolina (or eligible for admission) 1–3 years of litigation experience; prior experience at an insurance defense firm strongly preferred Exceptional legal writing and research skills Extremely organized, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines without dropping details Strong work ethic — we outwork the other side, and we expect the same from every member of our team Sound judgment, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to serving clients What We Offer Competitive salary — our goal is for compensation at our firm to exceed what attorneys with the same experience level would earn at an insurance defense firm Substantive litigation and courtroom experience from day one A collaborative, hardworking team deeply rooted in the Anderson community Kyle J.
