The Department of Physical Plant at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Multi-Skilled Locksmith to join their team:
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, installation, and repair of Locking Systems and equipment
- Make and duplicate keys
- When needed, perform repairs and installation of basic Electrical systems; Plumbing systems; H.V.A.C systems; and Carpentry repairs; Painting, Patching and Wall Coverings
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- High School graduate or GED (Required)
- Minimum of four (4) years of specialized training or a recognized four (4) year apprenticeship course for Locksmiths (Required)
- Experience in Healthcare facilities (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Life Safety Codes related to Fire and Safety Doors (Preferred)
