Job Title: Saw Operator Job Description

As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting metal to specific lengths as described in work orders. You will gather the necessary materials and utilize a saw to precisely cut materials. Additionally, you will place a specific amount of metal bars onto pallets in preparation for shipment. Proficiency with a tape measure is essential.

• Metals experience is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a dirty environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Work in a small metal distributor with a team of about 12 individuals. The environment involves cutting metal to length, which can be noisy due to saw operations. The facility is well-organized with ample space to accommodate long metal rods of up to 15 feet. The climate-controlled setting ensures a comfortable working temperature. This position operates on the 2nd shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fridley, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
