Junior Program Analyst

Program AnalystThe Program Analyst will support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) Section at the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division in Clarksburg, WV. The Program Analyst will work with the Senior Program Analyst and NICS personnel in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment, to provide the timely determination of a person's eligibility to possess firearms or explosives in accordance with federal law. Analyst must be willing to work multiple shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the agency's need. Overtime and flex time may be required.Essential FunctionsSupport analyst functions including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives.Conduct research, analysis, and review of daily transactionsCompare and validate transactions, provide follow-up actions as neededCompile daily statistic reports and execute daily work objectivesEnsure accuracy of completed work and maintain a high quality and production standardConduct activities in support of project team's objectives.
