We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time. What You’ll Do Process, review, and reconcile vendor invoices and payments Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor accounts Investigate and resolve invoice, purchase order, and payment discrepancies Reconcile vendor statements, account balances, and accounting transactions Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, credit memos, and supporting documentation Verify and post transactions within accounting systems and ledgers Monitor outstanding balances and apply credits, adjustments, and discounts as needed Set up and maintain vendor accounts Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly Record and reconcile petty cash transactions Partner with internal departments to resolve issues and improve accounting processes What We’re Looking For High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred Knowledge of basic accounting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Excellent organization and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Why You’ll Love Working Here Monday-Friday schedule with evenings and weekends off Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and development Employee discounts on flooring, countertops, and home improvement products Comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees #J-18808-Ljbffr
