Accounts Payable Specialist

This position is a Part Time position, located on-site at Famous headquarters in Fairlawn, OH. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to this location for the role. This position is reconciling vendor invoices/credits to received purchase orders, with a high level of interaction with the purchasing department and branch operations (receiving department). Primary Job Responsibilities Maintain consistent Vendor communication and contact Review statements Scan and index invoices Verify proper approval on invoices Research and resolve accounts payable issues with internal departments and vendors Process high volume of payables (500-1000 accounts payable transactions per week) Checks and approves all vouchers for payment Also prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary Assists in monthly closings Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary Additional duties as needed Required Experience and Skills Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field 1-3 years of accounting experience Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills Good communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good planning and organizational skills High attention to detail Intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel is required Preferred Experience and Skills Eclipse ERP Experience Endeavor Netsuite What Makes Us Famous!
