Accounts Payable Specialist / Administrative Assistant

Up to $26/hour

Direct Hire Position

LHH is partnering with a growing company near Richfield, Ohio to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist / Administrative Assistant for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounts payable, data entry, vendor communication, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to multitask, and committed to maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment of vendors
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships
• Assist with account reconciliations and general accounting support
• Enter and maintain financial and administrative data with a high level of accuracy
• Support office operations, filing, document management, and recordkeeping
• Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative duties
• Prepare reports and maintain organized accounting records
• Collaborate with accounting and office staff on special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Prior accounts payable experience required
• Administrative or office support experience preferred
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus
