Advance your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist by supporting elementary and specialized student populations in schools near High Point, NC. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services and conduct speech-language evaluations for students.
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals.
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member.
- Provide specialized interventions and support for students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, especially within separate school settings for students with complex needs.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s communication and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in school-based settings, specifically with K–5 elementary (Hasty Elementary) or K–12 students with disabilities (Stoner Thomas), is highly desired.
- Strong skills in evaluation, IEP development, and delivering individualized therapy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
