No Offer Description announces a competition for the position of Assistant at the Institute of Technical Sciences of the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Przemyśl. Requirements Research Field Engineering Mechanical engineering Education Level Master Degree or equivalent Skills/Qualifications The competition is open to candidates who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571, as amended) and who satisfy the following qualification criteria: hold a Master's degree in Engineering (M.Sc. Eng.) in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies, or Mechanical Engineering; possess teaching and professional qualifications corresponding to the planned teaching duties in the areas of mechatronics, automation and robotics, and measurement techniques. Specific Requirements experience in teaching courses (lectures, tutorials, laboratory classes, and project-based classes) in the fields of mechatronics, automation and robotics, and measurement techniques. Languages POLISH Level Mother Tongue Additional Information Selection process Candidates are required to submit: an application for employment; copies of diploma(s) and documents confirming education and qualifications (the University may request original documents for inspection); a statement describing the candidate’s professional career to date; copies of documents confirming professional experience; a personal information form for applicants; a declaration confirming compliance with the requirements of Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science; a declaration stating that, if selected, the State Academy of Applied Sciences in Przemyśl will be the candidate’s primary place of employment; a declaration of consent to the processing of personal data for recruitment purposes; a certificate from the National Criminal Register (KRK) concerning offences specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Penal Code, Articles 189a and 207 of the Penal Code, and the Act of 29 July 2005 on Counteracting Drug Addiction (Journal of Laws 2023, item 172 and Journal of Laws 2022, item 2600), or equivalent offences under foreign law – required from both Polish citizens and foreign nationals; a declaration indicating the country or countries in which the candidate resided during the last 20 years, other than the Republic of Poland and the country of citizenship, together with criminal record certificates from those countries issued for professional or voluntary activities involving contact with children – required from both Polish citizens and foreign nationals; a criminal record certificate from the candidate’s country of citizenship issued for professional or voluntary activities involving contact with children, together with a certified translation – required from foreign nationals who resided in countries other than Poland or their country of citizenship. The submission date is determined by either the date of receipt confirmation at the Rector’s Office or the postmark date. The Competition Committee reserves the right to conduct interviews with selected candidates. The competition will be concluded by 4 September 2026 . In the event of a successful competition outcome, employment will commence on 1 October 2026 . Applications that do not meet the formal requirements or are submitted after the deadline will not be considered. The State Academy of Applied Sciences in Przemyśl reserves the right not to conclude the competition and not to fill the position without providing any reason. The State Academy of Applied Sciences in Przemyśl reserves the right to notify only the selected candidate of the decision regarding the appointment. A positive competition result does not automatically result in employment. It constitutes only a recommendation to the Rector. The final decision regarding employment is made by the Rector.
