For more information go to: ATI's Payer Strategy and Program Design Practice advises health plans, states, and other healthcare organizations navigating the changing Medicare and Medicaid landscape, with particular depth in Medicaid managed care and Medicare Advantage at the intersection of health plan strategy, public policy, program design, and implementation. The Practice Director is the senior leader responsible for the strategy, growth, client relationships, talent, and performance of Payer Strategy and Program Design. This person inherits an established portfolio of clients and a talented team, and is expected to continue quality delivery and expand that business, identify new opportunities, and shape compelling advisory offerings. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Practice Director is accountable for Practice-wide sales, engagement profitability, staff productivity, and client service. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Owns and drives Practice growth. Sets the Practice's growth strategy and is personally accountable for retaining and expanding existing clients, developing new senior-level relationships, and building a healthy pipeline of new business. Works with Managing Directors and ATI's growth and sales leaders to identify priority markets and accounts, shape offerings, develop opportunities, and convert those opportunities into engagements. Translates market change into client opportunity. Maintains a strong understanding of the forces reshaping Medicaid managed care, Medicare Advantage, and state healthcare programs and uses that perspective to anticipate client needs, identify emerging opportunities, and evolve ATI's services accordingly. Builds trusted relationships across the Medicare and Medicaid ecosystem. Builds and maintains relationships with senior health plan executives, state Medicaid and healthcare leaders, policymakers, industry organizations, and other influential leaders shaping the market. Represents ATI's perspective in the market. Is a recognized voice on Medicaid managed care and Medicare Advantage, using speaking, publishing, and convening opportunities to advance ATI's point of view and demonstrate the value ATI brings to clients. CLIENT SERVICES Serves as a senior advisor to clients. Brings deep industry knowledge and judgment to ATI's most important engagements and relationships. Understands clients' businesses, anticipates their needs, and connects policy, market, financial, and operational considerations to help senior leaders make consequential decisions. Ensures exceptional delivery across the portfolio. Provides strategic direction and oversight to engagement leaders while holding teams accountable for rigorous, practical, high-quality work. Creates the conditions for strong client satisfaction, repeat business, and account growth without needing to personally execute every element of every engagement. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT Builds and develops the team. Plans for the Practice's talent needs based on expected growth and the capabilities the work requires. Develops staff toward deeper content and consulting skills sets that allow for greater client-facing responsibility. Builds a culture aligned with firm values. Models ATI's purpose, mission, and values, and fosters them across the Practice and the firm. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Upholds business policies and processes. Conveys and upholds operational expectations throughout the Practice, including current CRM records, accurate and on-time reporting, disciplined project budgeting, adherence to project management processes and tools, and consistent brand and quality standards.
