Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor, Madison, Wisconsin. The registered nurse will provide care to adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services, including patients with high-acuity needs. The role supports comprehensive rehabilitation care in a setting that functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications:
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or another 24/7 skilled-care environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Medical-surgical or inpatient rehabilitation experience involving comparable patient acuity
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Additional Information:
  • Patient population consists of adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high-acuity needs
  • Every-other-weekend and holiday rotations are required
  • Call requirements apply
  • Nurses are expected to support nursing assistants and respond to patient call lights to promote patient safety
