Milling Machine Operator-$28-$34hr

CCI offers a full range of building construction activities and design‑build projects. Asphalt Milling Machine Groundperson Responsibilities and abilities required for the position include: Work safely. Alert operator or others in the work area of unsafe conditions. Maintain constant communication with the operator. Control machine cutting depths to mill asphalt or concrete smoothly. Walk with the machine to monitor the milling area and mark out/communicate any obstructions to the operator. Assist with directing trucks as they are being loaded. Assist operator with daily checks, fueling, greasing, and changing teeth as needed. Stand and walk for long periods of time. Lift and carry 50 lbs for short distances. Be proficient in Wirtgen Level Pro gradient control and different grade control. Work in hot and cold environments. Tools and Materials Tools such as slope control equipment are used.
