Summary We are seeking a Senior Architect with a strong background in leading the technical development of medium to large-scale projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of project types, with emphasis on higher education, healthcare, research & development, and civic/municipal sectors. Job Responsibilities Assist project managers in developing work plans and schedules. Collaborate with design teams during programming and conceptual phases. Lead the technical team in preparing design development and construction documents. Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external consultants. Develop architectural technical specifications. Oversee construction administration including site observation, RFI responses, and submittal reviews. Manage small to medium-sized projects when needed. Contribute to departmental initiatives such as updating technical standards and mentoring junior staff. Qualifications / Skills Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university with a Master's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture, with 8+ years preferred in the commercial space. Architectural licensure preferred. Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and BSD Spec Link is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and detail-oriented mindset. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable. Ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines.
