As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club dock operations team, you will be a customer-focused team member! We are looking for friendly and upbeat individuals to greet members and work on the docks. This position is part-time and requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.At Brunswick & Freedom Boat Club, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.Essential FunctionsWelcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standardsAnticipate and address guests' service needsThank guests with genuine appreciationMake and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquetteManage the check-in and check-out process using a handheld tabletPerform equipment checks to make sure all necessary equipment is functional and on boardClean and maintain vessels and Club location according to company standardsDaily clerical work to prepare reservation system, fuel logs, and weather reportsFamiliarize yourself with local waters in order to provide basic guidance to membersSpeak with others using clear and professional languageEnsure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professionalFollow all company policies and proceduresMaintain confidentiality of proprietary informationPerform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisorsDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.Required QualificationsPass a background check and drug screenValid driver's license and good driving recordHigh school diplomaAt least 18 years of ageStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activityPositive, cooperative attitude with the capability of working unsupervisedAbility to read and manipulate handheld tabletsAdhere to all safety policiesPreferred QualificationsExperience in or around boatsWorking ConditionsWork outside in the state's elements and stand for an extended period of timeComfortable with physical demands of the role including bending, kneeling, balancing, and carrying equipment up to 25 poundsWork in a marina setting on docks that may be fixed or floatingWork near and on the waterSafely move on, off and in vessels during various tide and weather conditionsThe anticipated pay rate for this position is $15.00/hr.This position is eligible to participate in valued Brunswick benefit offerings including 401k (up to 4% match), wellbeing program, and product purchase discounts.Why Brunswick:Whatever tomorrow brings, we'll be at the leading edge.
