ICU Registered Nurse - Night & Day Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Variable schedule 7a - 7p / 7p - 7a with 3x12 hour shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as required.

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care and possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the ICU unit.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patient care effectively in the ICU environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate patient conditions and care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products is preferred.
