Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Schedule:
- Shift: 7a-7p / 7p-7a
- Type: 3x12s, variable shifts scheduled as needed, every other weekend, holidays included

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (required through the RQI system during clinical orientation)
- Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire
- TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in the intensive care unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities to enhance team effectiveness.
