Project Coordinator

Job Summary/Objective:

The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of projects by assisting project managers and program teams with administrative tasks, scheduling, and communication. This entry-level role ensures smooth communication and coordination within the project team while gaining exposure to project management processes. Primary Responsibilities: Support project and program teams with administrative tasks, including data entry and report generation. Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and documentation. Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, providing updates and reporting to stakeholders. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes. Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication. Identify and address potential issues to keep projects on track. Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes. Partner with project controls and accounting to reconcile receipts and costs for materials, rentals, and subcontractors to ensure proper job costing. Assist in scheduling inspections, sub-contractors, rentals, and any other operational support activity as needed.. Ensure new equipment is properly tagged and entered to the current asset tracking system. Assist in project close out document processing. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in administrative roles or project coordination. Preferred and Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to learn project tracking software. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solving approach.
