Desktop Support Technician

Description A Desktop Support position involves providing technical assistance to staff, managing computer hardware/software, and resolving network issues. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop systems, printers, and peripheral devices to ensure high-quality support in a clinical setting. They are running a large project for their lifecycle refresh of 1200 devices. Their employees will support day to day break/fix and standard deployments. They will have 3000 phone devices that need to be replaced by end of year ahead of their Windows 12 migration. THese technicians will support both day to day tickets and scope and begin the phone refresh project alongside the lifecycle refresh. System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, scanners). Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize disruption in clinical or administrative areas. User Support: Provide technical assistance for operating systems and software applications used Documentation: Log all support requests and actions taken within a ticketing system Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pontiac, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
