Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on rehabilitation processes and provide training on the use of assistive devices when needed.
• Stay current with industry standards and practices by attending professional workshops, participating in continuing education, and engaging with professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient setting, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from children to seniors, addressing a variety of conditions such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. You will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate (DPT) is required.
• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and scheduling purposes.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
