This position will initially be responsible for managing a mobile development project consisting of 3 to 5 resources, with a career path towards a senior leadership role within Acumen Solutions.Specific DutiesCreates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirementsIdentifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilitiesManages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scopeReviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to clientEffectively applies our methodology and enforces project standardsPrepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance proceduresIdentifies and manages project riskEnsures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyReviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriateSupport client management and relationship development as well as business development efforts as neededDesired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree10 - 15 years experience managing projects/teams across the entire SDLC including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and supportChange/release managementProfessional Services experienceIT consulting and client interactionNetworking and business developmentAny mobile application or cable/telecom experience is a plusExperience working within an established PMO processExperience managing 3rd party implementation vendorsExperience managing 3rd party support vendors General Project/Practice Related Competencies Project /Practice ManagementExperience in designing and developing software components and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration backgroundAuthorized to work for any U.S. employerRemote work is not an option for this roleQualificationsSee "desired skills & experience"Additional InformationAcumen Solutions offers the opportunity for growth and advancement, as well as a competitive base salary, annual performance based incentives, medical benefits & 401k.EOE M/F/V/DVEVRAA Federal Contractor
