Senior Oncology Sales SpecialistWest Palm Beach, FL Territory: Eastern Florida between Fort Lauderdale and MelbourneWe are looking for a driven, resourceful, and strategically minded Senior Oncology Sales Specialist to join our team. This role requires the initiative and creativity to succeed in competitive markets built around complex science, and thrives in a small, entrepreneurial environment where precision and strategic thinking are essential.In this role, you will develop account- and customer-specific business plans that drive adoption and utilization of our first commercial oncology product. You will be responsible for achieving all territory sales goals through the promotion, sale, and support of this product within your geographic territory — serving as a trusted resource to external customers including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.Essential FunctionsDevelop and execute robust territory business plansMeet or exceed assigned sales goals, brand KPIs, and management objectivesBuild and manage long-term relationships with physicians, nurses, office practice managers, and other key stakeholdersConduct compelling, clinically grounded discussions with healthcare professionals in support of the approved product indicationLeverage approved resources and messaging to drive resultsCommunicate product features and benefits using persuasive, patient-centered sales techniquesCollaborate cross-functionally with clinical nurse educators, marketers, account managers, and medical science liaisonsPlan and organize promotional speaker programs in partnership with the Speakers BureauCommunicate competitive market intelligence to brand teams and leadershipMonitor operating costs and ensure activities align with company policies and proceduresWhat We're Looking ForSelf-motivated, assertive, and results-driven with a strong sense of urgencyStrategic thinker with a creative approach to customer accessStrong analytical skills — ability to leverage sales reports and data to build territory strategiesExcellent selling, presentation, and active listening skillsEntrepreneurial spirit; comfortable in a fast-paced, small-company environmentDeep understanding of key customers and account groups within the territoryAbility to leverage cross-functional roles (Marketing, Market Access) to drive resultsOutstanding oral and written communication skillsSuperior clinical acumen in a technically complex sales environmentCollaborative team player who works effectively with internal partners and external customersRequired Experience & EducationBachelor's Degree requiredMinimum 6+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industryExperience in oncology and/or rare diseaseProven track record of results in a competitive marketMarket Access or Reimbursement experience a plusPreferredLaunch experience and/or promotion of breast cancer productsLaunch experience and/or promotion of rare disease productsCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $175,000 – $200,000 per year (higher compensation available for advanced experience)Quarterly incentive compensationRobust benefits packagePersonal vehicle reimbursement for business useTravel requirement: up to 20% (local and overnight travel within territory)Actual compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.We are an equal opportunity employer.
