Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical, Progressive Care Unit Duration: Ongoing Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of Progressive Care Unit experience mixed with Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of Progressive Care Unit mixed with Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience - BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications Description: Will be working in a Medical Surgical and Progressive Care Unit. Floating to other campuses, medical surgical units, progressive care units, and emergency department hold is required. Home base will be a medical surgical/telemetry floor with a 36-bed unit. Nurse-patient ratios will be 5 to 6:1. Prior travel experience is highly preferred. Degree accreditation or 5 years of experience is required. It is important that staff integrate into the unit culture and function as core staff. All requests for time off must be provided during the submission process and cannot be approved afterward. Demographic information must be included at the time of submission to confirm candidates. Hard document deadlines will be enforced, and no exceptions for pending documentation will be made.
