This is not a traditional customer service role.

This is a high-energy, relationship-first position for someone who LOVES talking to people, turns every conversation into a win for the customer, and understands that a happy voice on the phone is worth its weight in gold.

You will be the heartbeat of our customer experience, a champion who keeps EMH top of mind, converts inquiries into booked projects, and builds loyalty that lasts a lifetime.

Compensation:

$50,000 - $75,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Make outbound and inbound customer calls with professionalism, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm

• Follow up on leads, estimates, and past customers to convert interest into scheduled appointments and sold projects

• Sell EMH's annual maintenance programs — presenting the value clearly and closing with confidence

• Drive 5-star Google and Yelp review collection by coaching happy customers through the process during post-job calls

• Manage the customer lifecycle from first call to completed project, maintaining organized notes in our CRM

• Coordinate scheduling with the install and service teams to ensure seamless customer handoffs

• Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally, de-escalating with empathy and finding solutions fast

• Champion EMH's referral program by asking satisfied customers for word-of-mouth recommendations

• Track your own metrics: call volume, conversion rate, reviews collected, maintenance plans sold

• Bring positive energy to every team huddle and help celebrate team wins

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a call center environment

• Excellent verbal communication skills — clear, friendly, and persuasive

• Proven ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining quality and warmth

• Proficiency with CRM software, email, and basic office tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365)

• Ability to work Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays during peak season

Preferred:

• Experience in home services, HVAC, solar, or a related industry

• Demonstrated success in phone-based sales, appointment setting, or upselling

• Experience collecting online reviews or managing customer feedback programs

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus — not required
