Job Description As a Security Officer Graveyard in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $21.20 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access control systems, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records for commercial real estate locations. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, lobbies, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, provide directions and assistance, and report maintenance, access, and security-related issues according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred. Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
