Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Gallaway Health and Rehab in Gallaway, Tennessee. As a key member of our operations team, the Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our residents to and from appointments, social events, and other activities. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule transportation for residents to and from appointments, social events, and other activities Transport residents to and from appointments, social events, and other activities Escort residents to and from appointments, social events, and other activities Manage and maintain accurate records of transportation requests and scheduling Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure transportation needs are met Troubleshoot transportation issues and find alternative solutions as needed Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of transportation services Maintain a clean and organized transportation department Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in a related field preferred Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards Certified Nursing Assistant and CPR certification 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or related field Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Familiarity with electronic medical records and scheduling software preferred Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed (up to 50 pounds) Why Join Our Team At Gallaway Health and Rehab, we are committed to delivering excellence in all we do.
