Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and implement program plans to ensure the effective organization of services tailored to the needs of individual students and their families.

• Engage in regular communication with physicians and other healthcare team members to discuss patient progress, highlight needs and concerns, and identify potential or actual challenges impacting patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation that meets departmental standards, including clinical evaluations and progress notes, to ensure continuity of care.

• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive treatment and discharge plans that are informed by thorough psychosocial assessments and best-practice social work interventions.

• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to address emotional and behavioral issues, employing evidence-based approaches tailored to the needs of adolescents and their families.

• Consult with families and support systems regarding treatment planning and facilitate coordination between school services and clinical care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your main focus will be on working with high-risk students in a school-based setting who face various challenges, including mental health disorders, behavioral issues, and social stressors that could impede their academic and personal growth. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A valid, active license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, with demonstrated success in crisis intervention, counseling, and collaborative treatment.

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to utilize electronic medical records, word processing, spreadsheets, and email systems effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
