Manage and oversee Accounting Department

Supervise Accounting staff, payroll processing and review deliverables

Review year-end client financial records; facilitate preparation of related tax returns

Training; establish and enforce proper accounting method

Improve / implement systems and procedures

Participate in recruiting , team-building and firm events

M&A

Coordinate and maintain VDRs (virtual data rooms) for buy-side and sell-side transaction

Perform financial review; flag discrepancies or structural risks to Firm

Act as Technical Interface Liaison, interfacing with external legal team, investment bankers , firm and target company executives

Conduct post-merger integration

Accounting and Advisory

Strategic Review, Review QofE; compile report, identify add backs, evaluate normaized EBiTDA; Ensure internal alignment

Executive Administration and Project Management

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors in Accounting , Finance or related field. A CPA, CMA or active progress towards one is highly preferred

5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, tranaction advisory or public account with exposure to M&A environment

A thorough understanding of of corporate tzx principles and GAAP. NO Tax Returns or filing required

Strong QuickBooks for training purposes

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Established 11 year old Accounting Firm with multiple locations including Long Island and Florida with more than 25 employees.
