We value diverse perspectives and offer opportunities for growth, impact, and professional development.As a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel in the Innovation, Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence Legal team, you will primarily advise and counsel our Payments’ Chief Data & Analytics Officer for the Commercial and Investment Bank and other business partners on legal matters related to data, analytics, and AI products and services. You will help support our businesses selling data and analytics products by negotiating client agreements and by advising on markets expansion of their data and analytics products. You will be part of a collaborative, global team committed to integrity, inclusivity, and excellence, helping drive responsible innovation and business success.Job ResponsibilitiesAdvising on drafting and negotiating client- and customer-facing contractsAssisting with providing day-to-day legal advice and counsel to internal Payment’s clients and partners and other businesses in connection with the development, implementation and maintenance of data, analytics, AI or other related technology products and servicesCollaborating with business teams, as well as colleagues in Legal, Risk, Compliance and other control functions to address and resolve complex issuesAdvising internal clients on relevant legal, regulatory and market developments in the data, analytics and AI industriesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsQualified lawyer with minimum 6 years of legal experience Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiating and commercial skillsExperience practicing with a law firm, financial institution or technology companyAbility to prioritize work, effectively manage many issues at one time, and interact effectively with senior managementAbility to understand business needs and develop collaborative relationships with internal partners across the supported businessesEffective and efficient problem solver; strong organizational and project management skillsStrong drafting, negotiation, and legal analytical skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to prioritize and manage workflow in a multi-jurisdictional environmentCompliance with relevant licensing requirements for the jurisdictionPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsKnowledge of intellectual property, data management, artificial intelligence or analytics is a plus, or related corporate transactional or litigation experience with transferable skills/knowledgeExperience at a top-tier law firm and in-house in financial servicesExperience managing legal matters for institutional clientsFamiliarity with regulatory and dispute resolution processesTrack record of supporting product launches and market expansions JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
