Representative Customer Service (Warranty Dept)

Requisition ID: 25880 This position is responsible for coordinating customer service and warranty activity. The individual must handle multiple activities and work with people having varying skill sets. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, controlling warranty expense, and accurate reporting. Responsibilities Prepare and submit quarterly reports. Assist with NHTSA activities when necessary. Process recall letters from OEM chassis manufacturers. Create letters for importing trucks to Canada indicating no open WC recalls. Provide feedback on customer issues to the warranty committee. Report on all functional activities and performance for each area. Generate field service bulletins to inform field reps and dealers of service issues and training. Collaborate with other business areas. Administer vendor part warranties, exchanges, and recall notices. Maintain cooperative working relationships. Resolve pre‑delivery and post‑delivery problems and manage administration. Administer warranty and repair processes. Provide consistent information flow to customers and field reps. Serve as point of contact when no Customer Service Manager or Director of Customer Service is present. Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Qualifications Set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues. Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and present information in individual and group settings. Possess excellent organizational and management skills. Perform critical analysis and present findings. Demonstrated leadership ability to get results through others. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer use, including report generation. Proficient in SAP and perform necessary mathematical computations. Use phone systems, e‑mail, and internet browsing effectively. Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and remain courteous and professional with public and employees. Education / Experience A.A. Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience. Manufacturing experience preferred. Minimum two (2) years of successful sales or customer service experience. Physical Demands Stand or walk regularly; use hands to grasp, handle, and feel objects; reach with hands and arms. Frequently sit and use a phone and computer for extended periods. Occasionally lift or move up to 40 lb. Requires close, peripheral, and depth vision. Ability to bend, stoop, and squat.
