We’re a close-knit, passionate team, and we’re looking for a Front of House Assistant Manager who leads with warmth, thinks like an owner, and genuinely loves the craft of hospitality.

About the role
As our Front of House Assistant Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of every shift — setting the tone, supporting your team, and making sure every guest walks out the door wanting to come back. You’ll work closely with ownership to drive operations, manage events, and help Level continue to grow as one of Annapolis’s most beloved dining destinations.
What you’ll do
- Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver an exceptional guest experience every shift
- Oversee daily operations and uphold our service and quality standards
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and labor to optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with the bar team on seasonal cocktail development
- Oversee bar inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Execute private events, rehearsal dinners, and corporate bookings with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Manage and grow our social media presence (Instagram, Facebook) — capturing content, posting consistently, and engaging our community online
- Analyze financials and help drive sales and profitability
- Communicate clearly and proactively with ownership
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience in an upscale or full-service setting
- Familiarity with Toast POS and OpenTable
- Strong background in craft cocktails and bar operations
- Active and comfortable on social media — you know how to tell a story through a post
- Confident, positive leader who energizes a room
- Excellent multitasker with strong delegation, organizational and communication skills
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cost management
- Proficient with computers and professional written communication
- Someone who leads with integrity and lifts their team up
The Details
Restaurant Hours: Sunday–Thursday 4pm–9pm, Friday & Saturday 4pm–11pm
Pay: Commensurate with experience
