What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings operational areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify access permissions and communicate with site personnel and/or first responders as needed regarding security-related matters.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by completing assigned reports maintaining awareness of changing conditions and following post orders for an unarmed patrol assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
